Our Craft

Slow, on purpose.

You cannot clean a car well at speed, so we do not try.

Arriving

Your Artisan arrives in uniform at the time you reserved and introduces themselves. Before they start, you get a card with their name and what they are doing today.

They already know how you like things: the fragrance, whether the tyres should be dressed, and whether to ring the bell or send a message instead.

The method

The car is rinsed first with water from the tank we bring, to take off loose dust and grit before anything touches the paint. Then it is washed by hand, one panel at a time from the roof down, and rinsed again.

It is dried with soft microfibre towels, panel by panel, so the water does not dry into spots on the paint. Where the car is parked in a building, we follow its rules and leave the space tidy.

The finish

On the Ceramic and Signature Washes, a ceramic sealant goes onto the clean, dry paint and is levelled by hand. You see it most the first time it rains.

Inside, we leave surfaces looking like themselves. Dashboards should not shine, and leather should not look like plastic.

The record

We photograph the car before and after every visit, and agree any existing marks with you before we start. After Interior Sanitisation you get a certificate with a number anyone can check.

Over the years, each car builds up a plain record of what was done, when, and by whom.

Your Artisan

Every Artisan trains with us before their first visit and is certified for each finish they do. Ceramic and Signature work goes only to those who hold that certificate.

You can ask for the same Artisan next time.

Reserve a first visit.

Tell us about the car. We will take it from there.
